From the mixing studio - May 2021

Now that we can get our compostable mini scent card samples to you in a completely planet friendly format we are launching the Perfino Private Members Club. Anyone who subscribes to Perfino (see bottom of page to join - it's free!) is automatically a member and will receive a free sample of our monthly blend, every month, as well as other discounts, benefits and early insights.

Each scent card comes with a QR code which takes you to the PPMC facebook group so you can share your opinions of the blend in the moment - good, bad, or indifferent. We hope it will be fun to share, but will also help us know what you like and don't like so we can evolve future blends - and if we ever come across one that you all like we could well make it one of our hero blends, alongside ...and breathe,  ...deep love, and ...power on.

Our May 2021 blend is led by lavender, but not as you know it, as we try to inject this classic fragrance with a bit of summer and depth.

Ingredients

Lavender – Sweet orange – Manuka – Patchouli – Ylang Ylang

Lavender, a very dominating essential oil, leads this formulation but marries happily with Sweet Orange which softens its harder woody edges. These top notes lead on to Manuka from New Zealand, and Patchouli, which provide the stability at the heart of the scent, giving depth, longevity, and an exotic herbaceous twang. Finally, it is Ylang Ylang that brings us out of the bushes and back into the realm of the sensual and slightly feminine.

This makes me feel at one with nature, grounded and relaxed
